How we compare — no shortcuts
Every review follows the same four-phase process. We publish the criteria before testing begins so you can judge whether our priorities match yours.

Criteria publication
Before we touch a product, we list every metric we will measure and the weight each one carries. Readers can challenge weightings in advance through our feedback form.

Controlled testing
Products are tested under identical conditions — same room temperature, same benchmark suite, same usage scenario. We repeat each measurement three times and report the median.

Blind scoring
Two independent reviewers score without seeing each other's numbers. Discrepancies greater than 15 percent trigger a third review. No manufacturer sees scores before publication.

Open data release
Raw data tables are published alongside every comparison article. Anyone can download the spreadsheet, re-weight the criteria and reach their own conclusion.

We review each published comparison at least once every 90 days. If a manufacturer releases a major firmware update or a price change exceeds 10 percent, we re-test and re-score within two weeks. Every table shows its last-verified date in the header row.
Yes. While our office is based in Mong Kok, many of our comparisons cover products sold internationally. Where pricing or availability differs by region, we note the local variations and link to region-specific retailers.
Every comparison article includes a downloadable CSV file containing the raw measurements, the weighting formula and the final composite scores.
